Alex’s overall objective is to drive the growth of Special Piping Materials in the South-east Asian region, while overseeing major projects and strengthening existing and new client relationships.
He is also targeted at achieving the sought-after ISO 9001:2008 certification of excellence which will ensure the quality of the company’s management systems, and reinforce its commitment to both clients and stakeholders.
Alex has extensive experience of the oil and gas market, as well as in-depth knowledge of Special Piping Materials, having been an integral member of the sales and procurement team for seven years. During his time with the company he has managed project work on a global scale while working closely with the company’s international network of offices and agents. He was also fundamental in setting up the thriving Special Piping Materials office in Dubai, quickly positioning it as the leading duplex and super duplex stockholder in the area.
Special Piping Materials was founded in 1989 and, over the past 25 years, has established itself as a market leader, growing from a single office in Manchester, UK to a global network of seven sales offices and warehouses across five continents.
The Singaporean division of the business was established in 2005 and, over the last decade, has gained a reputation for quality, efficiency and versatility. It is also the leading stockholder and distributor of duplex, super duplex and exotic piping materials in the South-east Asian region.
